Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What is the cost of attending your expo, and does that include the cost of getting a tattoo?
A: The cost for our expo for 2008 was $10.00 per day or a reduced $25.00 for all three days. No, the entrance fee is to get into the expo and does not go towards any tattoos being done. Each Artist will set a price for their work.
Q: Is it safe getting a tattoo at the Expo?
A: YES, we take every precaution to insure your experience at the expo is safe and enjoyable. Every artist must register in the county and must supply us with the necessary certificates to tattoo.
Q: Can I bring my kids to the Expo, and is there a charge for them?
A: Yes, at the Living Ink Halloween Tattoo Expo, kids are allowed and welcomed. There is no charge at our Expo for kids 12 and under, however, some other expos may charge, and in some counties, regulations don't allow kids under a certain age to be around tattooing. Check with the management of the expo you wish to attend.
Q: Will there be other thing at the expo beside tattoos?
A: Well yes, not sure what else you WANT! (Just Kidding) We will be offering vendors, food, entertainment and much more!
Q: How old do you have to be to get a tattoo?
A: This varies state to state but in California, you must BE 18 YEARS old with a valid identification to get a tattoo.
Q: If I visit the Expo on Saturday, and schedule with an artist to get a tattoo done on Sunday, do I have to pay again to get in on Sunday?
A: YEP!!!!
Q: What do I have to do special to take care of the tattoo afterwards?
A: Well, you can't shower or bathe for 3 weeks and you have to walk around naked..... JUST KIDDING! Wash the new tattoo about 3 hours after the work is done, your artist will recommend a product to use for about 4-5 days, then you want to keep it moist with a lotion until it heals.
